Stop Motion Video

Raging Waves is a stop motion video I created for my web animation class, highlighting the importance of water safety—specifically the daring antics of youth and the correct use of lifebuoys. The message becomes clear when one character carelessly throws a lifebuoy without a rope, emphasizing how a small oversight can have serious consequences.

I designed all elements using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, then brought them to life with paper cutouts captured in Stop Motion Studio. After filming, I color corrected and batch edited the images for a cohesive final look. The sound design was edited and enhanced in Pro Tools to amplify the emotional tone and bring the story to life
The result is a short but impactful animation that combines visual storytelling and sound.
